How about this weather?!?! 70's & 80's... this is why we endure the hot summers. It looks like this weather is going to stay with us for a while and with warmer weather also comes better playing conditions. Our golf course has been extremely busy and shouldn't let up very much for the next couple of weeks , thanks to Spring Training being in town.
Our Ping Demo day was such a success that we have decided to invite Cleveland to come out on March 29th to have a demo day of their own. Come out and see what new clubs Cleveland has to offer and take advantage of some terrific savings on their equipment.
The Verde Grill is busier than ever as well. With Easter brunch, a St. Patrick's Day special, and our weekly Wednesday night specials, we should see a terrific month from the Food & Beverage team.
Check out some of the specials we have to offer on both trilogygolfclub.com/vistancia and verdeattrilogy.com. Until next time, keep em in the fairways!

We make a tee time on Memorial Day for 6:40am. We were excited to play a nice course. When we showed up at the course, we were told they were having some problems with the greens on the front. They had a fungus and the greens were spotty in areas; however, they putted true. He went on to say the green on the back nine were in good condition. Unfortunately, neither of these statements was true.

When we started playing the course, the greens on the front had large spots of completely dead grass. Where the grass was not dead, they let the green grow extremely long and shaggy. When you putted the ball, it would go fast on the dead grass and come to almost dead stop on the long grass. It was terrible. But no fear, the man at the counter told us the greens on the back nine were in great shape.

When started the back nine, yes the greens did not have the fungus areas of the front nine but were allowed to grow for a multiple days. It had just rained the day before so green were so long I could have putted better on my bedspread. It was a complete disappointment.

After completing the round, we went back into the club house to complain. The person at the counter stuck to his story that the greens were not that bad on the back nine. I told them I don't think they had played them today because they were in terrible shape (All to no avail). I feel like I paid $50 to go to the driving range. The greens were so long that even chipping wasn’t of any practice.

At least when a course aerates the greens they warn you before hand when you are making the reservations and you can decide if you want to play the course of not. In this case, they did not warn us and the shape of the greens was worse than any aerated green I had ever played on. The management should be ashamed of themselves. I think it will be a long time before I play this course again.
